Thank you for choosing Real Sleep. We are committed to providing high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience. Because many of our products are custom-made prescription medical devices, our return and refund policies differ from those of traditional retail products.

Please review this Return & Refund Policy carefully before making your purchase.

Real Sleep System

The following return and refund terms apply to purchases of the Real Sleep System, including your custom oral appliance and related services.

Eligibility

At-Home Impression Kit

As part of your purchase of the Real Sleep System, you will receive an at-home dental impression kit used to create your custom oral appliance.

To be eligible for a refund, the impression kit must be:

  • Unused
  • Unopened
  • Returned in its original packaging

Once your completed dental impressions have been received by Real Sleep for processing, fabrication of your custom oral appliance begins. Because your appliance is manufactured specifically for you, your purchase becomes non-refundable once your impressions have been received and accepted for production.

Digital Intraoral Scans

In certain situations, your provider may recommend an in-office digital intraoral scan instead of an at-home impression kit.

When digital scan records are submitted to Real Sleep for fabrication, manufacturing of your custom oral appliance begins immediately.

Orders are no longer eligible for a refund once digital scan records have been submitted for production.

30-Day Cancellation Window

Requests to cancel an order must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.

Refund requests received after thirty (30) days cannot be approved, regardless of whether impressions or digital scans have been completed.

Custom Oral Appliances

Your oral appliance is a prescription medical device custom fabricated specifically for your unique dental anatomy.

Because it is manufactured exclusively for you:

  • It cannot be returned.
  • It cannot be reused.
  • It cannot be transferred.
  • It cannot be resold.

Once fabrication has begun, refunds are not available except as expressly provided under the Real Sleep Patient Care Guarantee, if applicable.

Clinical Eligibility

If an independently licensed physician or dentist affiliated with Real Sleep determines that you are not an appropriate candidate for oral appliance therapy before your appliance enters production, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the Real Sleep System, including any eligible bundled products purchased as part of your order.

Non-Custom Products

The following policy applies to products that are not custom manufactured, including but not limited to:

  • Home Sleep Tests
  • Ultrasonic Cleaners
  • Cleaning products
  • Nasal products
  • Mouth tape
  • Sleep accessories
  • Supplements
  • Other retail merchandise

Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, products must be:

  • Unused
  • Unopened
  • In their original packaging

Return requests must be received within fourteen (14) days of the original purchase date.

Defective or Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Real Sleep as soon as possible.

We may request photographs or additional information to evaluate your claim.

If we determine that the product is defective or shipped in error, we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the product;
  • Repair the product (when applicable); or
  • Issue an appropriate refund.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the returned product is determined by Real Sleep to be defective or shipped in error.

Once your returned item has been received, inspected, and approved, eligible refunds will be issued to your original payment method, typically within 10–14 business days.

Financing Purchases

If your purchase was financed through Cherry, CareCredit, Sunbit, or another financing partner made available by Real Sleep, we will submit any eligible cancellation or refund request to the applicable financing provider.

Please note that financing agreements remain subject to the individual terms and conditions of your financing provider. Processing times may vary depending on the financing institution.

Subscription Products

If you enroll in a recurring subscription program offered by Real Sleep, additional subscription terms may apply.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of enrollment:

  • You may cancel future recurring shipments before your next billing date.
  • Charges already processed for shipped products are generally non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
  • Custom-manufactured products remain subject to the policies outlined above.

Exceptions

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable federal or state consumer protection laws.

Real Sleep reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not comply with this policy or where fraud, abuse, or misuse of our Services is suspected.
